News:- THE SCHOOL HAS BEEN ALLOCATED A PERMANENT LOCATION FOR OUR SITE AT PIONEER HOUSE, STOKE POGES!!!
Our vision is to offer an excellent education to children based on the National Curriculum and also fosters a learning environment within which children learn about spirituality, faith and practice Sikh values.
The Khalsa Secondary School is built on the outstanding provision of Khalsa Primary School and is a happy and inclusive school, where students of all faiths and of none are respected and supported. We will nurture the potential of all students and provide them opportunities to achieve more than they thought possible. The Sikh faith is emphatic in respecting all faiths and believes that all humans are equal before God. In addition earning an honest living, sharing ones wealth or resources and meditation are core aspects of Sikhism.
Our vision is inspiring and aspiration and is articulated through three themes:
Beyond Academic Achievement
We want to create a school that goes 'Beyond Academic Achievement' where we provide an exceptional academic education and encourage a passion for life-long learning where students, staff and parents work together to the best of our abilities with honesty, integrity and self-discipline. This is what we will inspire our students to do.
Beyond the Individual
A school where we go 'Beyond the Individual' to ensure that we foster all aspects of personal development and encourage students to take a life-long journey of self-discovery through self-reflection and meditation.
A school which inspires students to go 'Beyond Selflessness' where they share their future skills, knowledge and income with those in need, in love and charity and without discrimination.
Whilst the Khalsa School is a Sikh faith school, we provide an environment for those that wish to follow any faith as well as those that do not have a faith. Facilities are provided for those pupils that wish to participate in a morning prayers linked with their faith.
A multi-faith room is available for all non-Sikhs who wish to participate in their own prayers at the school. All prayers are followed by a whole school assembly where all children will join together to participate in a whole school message.
The Schools Vision includes the provision of a traditional sports curriculum which will include equestrian, archery, martial arts and athletics.
